Welcome. These docs are written so that anyone can follow them, including people who have never automated anything before. You don’t need to know how to code. Where code appears, it is optional and always comes with a ready-to-copy example.
Learn with two real businesses
Section titled “Learn with two real businesses”Most of this guide follows two Indian businesses from their first automation to a fully automated week: Vidya Coaching Centre, a JEE/NEET coaching institute in Pune, and Skyline Realty, a real-estate firm in Thane. Every idea on these basics pages uses them as the example. Meet the two businesses.
How the docs are organised
Section titled “How the docs are organised”The docs are split into books. Each book covers one product and is read on its own, with its own menu on the left.
- Learn the basics (this book) explains the ideas behind everything else: automation, APIs, webhooks, MCP and AI agents. Each page has a short animation.
- Auto Appy is the main product, where you build workflows and AI agents that connect your apps. Its guide is complete.
- CRM, WhatsApp, AI, Instagram, Meta Ads, Agent, Pages and Mobile each get their own book. These are being written now and show their planned chapters.
Switch books at any time from Products at the top of the page, or from the card at the top of the left menu.
If you are new, read in this order
Section titled “If you are new, read in this order”The pages on APIs, webhooks, MCP and AI agents are worth reading when you meet those words. If a word is unfamiliar, check the glossary.
